What’s The Frequency, Kenneth?
Well, here comes Memorial Day weekend -- time for some auto racing, and if you have an Xbox, you are awash in amazing racing titles -- RalliSport Challenge 2, Colin McRae Rally 4, TOCA Racing 2, Project Gotham 2...what more could you want. Okay, maybe those aren't indy car (excett TOCA0, but still.
What other Indy style racers are there....not many, unfortunately. Unless you count a Midway PS2 launch title, CART Fury Racing, which was kinda fun. Also if you still have a Dreamcast, Flag to Flag has some great moments...of course if you only have a GameCube, I'm sorry.
The funny thing is that one of the most popular PC racing games is almost 10 years old or more -- every play Papyrus' IndyCar Racing or Grand Prix Legends...these games (considered prehistoric era now) are still modded and updated to this day by dedicated unpaid modders -- I urge you to find copies of these games and try em out. Very cool stuff!
PS How about that Terror threat. This terror threat is so bad, the threat level isn't being upgraded. Hmm, interesting. Can you say "I'm losing so bad in the polls that maybe I'll scare people some more into voting for me?" Yeah, I thought so. This one should just be filed under bizarre. Of course, they are covered if something happens becuase they warned us. They just aren't doing anything about it (ie raising terror level). Whatever George.

You’re right; Bush is out trying to scare people for votes in May. The elections not until September, but hey, what does common sense matter? The childishness of all this Bush bashing is reaching unbearable levels. You come to read about sports gaming, and you get bitter, ignorant, hate filled bashing of the President. Aren’t liberals/Democrats supposed to be tolerant, open minded people? But then again, aren’t they supposed to be for women’s rights, and for the poor and down trodden? Unless of course they are Iraqi/Muslim women, and Arab/Middle Eastern poor. You’d like to think they were at least for freedom and democracy, but they don’t have the intestinal fortitude or the moral compass to defend either of those things. Especially in an election year and it’s the Republicans who are taking a stand against evil and terrorism. Yet it’s President Bush trying ‘scaring’ some votes up by warning of a possible terrorist attack. Please! Dems insist on holding a hypocritical, compromised panel investigating 9/11 claiming President Bush was incompetent, then criticize the administration and intelligence agencies when they give warnings. Where does it stop? Because it surely won’t be in November. Kerry has a better chance of winning a game of checkers down at the corner soup kitchen than winning this presidential election. So get over it. If this is the kind of crap that’s going to be on a blog for ‘sports gamers’, then count me out. I know for a fact that Bill wanted to keep politics off this…I suppose you’re hatred can’t be contained, kind of like the raving lunatic Al Gore.
