Uh-oh
After watching Kill Bill Vol 1 (thanks NetFlix), I then flipped to the end of the Patriots-Panthers game. Adam V missed a 56 yard field goal, so Carolina won, 20-17. Boy, the fans were going so crazy, you’d think it meant something. Give me a Super Bowl ring over a meaningless preseason game any day.
However, I’m worried. Pats are 1-2 right now in the preseason. Granted, it doesn’t really matter, it doesn’t count. I remember the Pats went 4-0 one time, and then went 1-15 or something back in the early 90s.
Meanwhile, the Orioles have lost their umpteenth game in a row. Talk about sad. I think I now know what the Oriole way is: have Angelos sell the team to someone who cares, since all he seems to care about is who’s moving from Montreal to Virginia.
Okay, I’m going to bed.

Been a die hard Panther fan since the rumor that a pro team was coming to the Carolinas. Endured the 1-15 season with a smile. Realizes that we went to the Superbowl last season but that was…last season. You don’t want to start that losing tradition even if it is the preseason.

Hey, nothing at all wrong with a win. If the pats won, I’d be gloating too.

True. I just wish we could’ve beaten you guys when it counted.

I want to say “I told ya so” with the Orioles, but I won’t.
It’s a shame because the O’s have some very good young players on that team. Give it time I guess.
I’ll just sit back and watch my hometown Pirates suck for the 13th year in a row. At least there appears to be some light at the end of the tunnel. I’m just hoping they reach that light before some of these players go elsewhere via FA.
