Zzzzz….oh, basketball?
I dunno about you folks (Bushism) but I am not really itching to play a basketball game right now. I mean we’re gearing up for the baseball playoffs, the NFL and college football is in full swing…and I’m supposed to get pumped up about two NBA games? I’m hearing a lot of good things about both ESPN and NBA Live, but it’s just not on the radar right now. I just don’t understand the rush in releasing the basketbsall and hockey games. Are gamers already done with Madden and ESPN?
Anyway you all know I review PC games for GameSpy, but I have to ask this…just spitballin’ here but I’m looking over the GSpy ESPN NBA 2k5 review and it’s rated 4.5 stars, but in the “con” section it says: “Shocking lack of D for a game with Ben Wallace on the cover.” I’m trying to wrap my brain around how a game with a “shocking lack of defense” gets 4.5 stars…
