I’ve got your message to approve, right here

Game 4 of the World Series. I am AFK. I just cannot wait to hear more words of wisdom from Mr. McCarver. He rules. And I mean that in the “George Bush is a great leader” way. Ie Sarcasm.

I just picked up GTA: SA. Well, I have to say, it’s pretty impressive. I mean I thought it would be same old same old, but they really added some interesting RPG like elements — heck you even have to eat now and then. Although, whenever I play GTA, I still remember that Chapelle’s Show skit about him being in GTA. Now that’s funny.

So, is it worth $100 for a color ipod? I’m going to say no. Although the U2 Ipod idea is neat, but I think I’m going to pass as well.

Six more days until the election. Being in a battleground state, I am extremely thankful I have TiVo. The local news broadcast is 21 minutes of news with 9 minutes of political ads. All ads are pretty much complete BS. How about that wolves ad? I wonder if wolves could guard the weapons in Iraq, because they are so good in commercials. It’s a real shame that this will all be over soon. Well actually it won’t be because the 2008 election is only four years away!

Thankfully, the election ended tonight with the truth finally coming out about Iraq. It seems the Russians were supplying him with arms, in violation of the UN resolutions, and even helped him remove it weeks before the U.S. invasion. http://www.washingtontimes.com/national/20041027-101153-4822r.htm

John Kerry, and every liberal who cast aspersions on our troops, on our Nation, and on our President can stick it up their ass. This is why we went into Iraq, and this is why we ignored the UN. It’s a corrupt institution, period. The fact that the liberal press, and the Kerry campaign dared to rail on President Bush over something they knew NOTHING about for two whole days, only shows the peril this nation faces when it comes to the liberal ideology. Here’s a perfect example, “How about that wolves ad? I wonder if wolves could guard the weapons in Iraq, because they are so good in commercials.” Lie, distort, scare….anything to get elected. Nice try, but the truth is going to get in your way.

I’m uttetly shocked that you read the Washington Times. =) The link you provided doesn’t seem to work, for me at least, in either Mozilla or IE.

I would like to read this somewhere else aside from the most right wing newspaper this side of FOX News. I dunno if it’s true (or what you’re even talking about) but this is like a liberal getting news from Al Franken. When I see “Washington Times” I tend to seek another source. I don’t see anything on MSNBC, CNN, or even FOX News about a Russian link to any of this. Can you find this story elsewhere? Mainly becaus I cant get my browser to read the thing.

We went into Iraq on false and exaggerated Intel, and we invaded that country before we had finished the job in the other country we invaded. Our “reasons” for invading Iraq seem to change every time we find out that the reason prior turned out to be bogus. I’ve never seen anything like it. We didn’t prepare, at ALL, for what post-invasion Iraq would be like. This is the part that pisses me off, even more than the invasion itself. If you can catch the Frontline documentary on PBS called “Rumfeld’s War”, it’s worth watching, even if you support the invasion.

Lie, distort, scare..? You’re sayting KERRY is doing that? My god man the entire Bush/Cheney campaign is BUILT around scaring the ever loving shit out of the populace. “We’re gonna get hit again! Vote Bush!” I hear that in almost every campaign speech Cheney gives. How is that not scaring people into voting for candidate X?

  3. Ramsey Says:

I couldnt get the link to work either AND I was unable to find any other news about what was mentioned in the first reply.

And Bill dont forget this blurb:

COLUMBIA, Mo., Sept. 7 — Vice President Cheney warned on Tuesday that if John F. Kerry is elected, “the danger is that we’ll get hit again” by terrorists…

That seems like a threat in my book.

  4. Jayhawker Says:

The Russian story is not even on Google News. And some thought Michael Moore was a biased loon.

  5. scasmflop Says:

What news isn’t spun anymore? It’s like reading an IGN review - you muck through the crap and hope you can come out with a tidbit of actual useful information.

  6. Shamrock 11 Says:

Cheney was lying about America being in danger if Kerry is elected? Make sure you watch ABC news tonight at 6:30 as they air the newest threat from Al-Queda.

“What took place on September 11 was but the opening salvo of the global war on America and that our Lord willing, the magnitude and ferocity of what is coming your way will make you forget all about September 11,” the man, whose face is covered by a headdress, warns in the video.”

There is a WAR ON TERROR that Kerry and the liberals seem all to willing to ignore. Why do you think the terrorists want Kerry elected? Very simple. They know Kerry will yield to the UN, and America will be weakened immeasurably. Now is not the time for our Commander-in-Cheif to be a liberal coward. It’s amazing how blind the left in this country has become since 9/11.

Hmm, that’s funny. ABC News has video of the site on April 12th, 2004, with all of the chemicals right there on camera. That’s after Baghdad fell.

Looks like The Washington Times, and President Bush are full of shit. They are verifiable LIARS. But hey, vote for him if you must. I can only hope if this clod gets elected he will be impeached immediately for his lies. I mean, what’s worse, sending 1000+ people to their death for absolutely no reason or a blow job. I think I’d pick the 1000+ people dying. But hey, that’s just me.

  8. Jayhawker Says:

Trying to say that Kerry will avoid the War on Terror is a lie perpertated by Cheney over and over, until it’s believed the masses. Kerry has repeatedly supported the war in Afganistan, and has repatedly made a point of his intent to hunt down and kill terrorists.

He has also promised to clean up the mess Bush has made of Iraq. He has no plans to leave, but to finish the job.

But hey, if the Washington Times favors draft dodgers whose friends are making billions off of the war in Iraq, feel free to be a mindless moron. Vote for Bush.

He just signed a nice 136 Billion dollar tax break that would benefit Haliburton immensely. The Pentagon has agreed to pay Halliburton 12 Billion dollars for work that cannot be verified, and they assume has not been done.

Just tack it on to the deficit. My daughter won’t mind paying for the looting of our treasury by Cheney and his minions.

The American people really are suckers.

  9. Shamrock 11 Says:

You liberals. Definently good for a laugh.

  10. bill Says:

“The American people really are suckers.”

Well, maybe. If Bush’s approval rating stays at 47-48% over the next 4 days–he’s cooked. And Rove knows it. Bush is trailing now by all historical standards, so while it’s still very close, if the “undecided” voters end up doing what they usually do on Election Day, then Kerry wins. If Bush gets a boost over the next few days then Kerry is in trouble.

  11. bill Says:

You neocons. Definently good for no one. ;)

  12. Shamrock 11 Says:

Sorry, but President Bush’s approval rating is 50.3%.

  13. Shamrock 11 Says:

“Bush is trailing now by all historical standards, so while it’s still very close, if the “undecided” voters end up doing what they usually do on Election Day, then Kerry wins. If Bush gets a boost over the next few days then Kerry is in trouble.”

Sorry Bill..not accurate. The ‘undecided’ do not break for the challenger in Presidential elections. That might be true in congressional elections. But not Presidential. Especially not in a time of war.

  14. Shamrock 11 Says:

“But hey, if the Washington Times favors draft dodgers whose friends are making billions off of the war in Iraq, feel free to be a mindless moron. Vote for Bush.”

A mindless moron? No, just being an American. Maybe you studied in history class how Americans believe in freedom and democracy? In the last 4 years Americans have liberated 50 million people. For the first time Muslim women have freedom. Why is it that liberals despise that? It’s not that they are demagogs and hypocrites is it? Who would ever think that?

Kerry supports the Afghanistan war? Why does he lie about Tora Bora? Even thought the Commanding General Tommy Franks has explained why Kerry is lying through his teeth. Why did he shit all over the historic elections that took place not long ago?

Draft dodgers? I’m assuming you were a Clinton supporter? If you were, then shut the FUCK up. I know you imbeciles don’t care about facts, but George W. Bush logged enough hours in his fighter jet to qualify for more than National Guard requirement. Far more hours than John Kerry ever logged in combat. How is that draft dodging? For that matter, did you ever serve in the military? I’ve asked you this before and you never answered. If not, then don’t ever bring up draft dodging again. Until you’ve payed your debt for you freedom and liberty don’t cast doubt on those who have.

A mindless moron? I’m not the Kansas Jayhawk fan. Loser.

  15. Dan Clarke Says:

    Now remember, according to Bush:

If Kerry were President, Saddam Hussein would still be in power and he would have the ability to give the terrorists biological weapons.

    According to the real world:
There were no biological weapons in Iraq. Since the US took over, at least one documented bunker of explosives has been looted and is now most likely in the hands of the terrorists.

But that’s ok right? Still waiting for that positive Bush ad about all those things he’s done that are great while in office that don’t restrict my freedoms or raise the deficit to a gazillion billion dollars. Yeah you don’t notice it now, but wait 3 more years. It happened at the end of Reagan, it will happen again. It’s the economy.

Here is a link for the Russians allegedley helping the Iraqis in violation of the UN sanctions.

    http://msnbc.msn.com/id/6323933/

It’s down aways in the article.
I also seem to remember quite a stink last year about Russian companies selling night vision googles, electronic jamming equipment, and anti-tank missles to iraq.

State Department spokesman Adam Ereli said, “Coalition forces have cleared 10,033 weapons caches and destroyed 243,000 tons of munitions. Another 162,898 tons of munitions are at secure locations and awaiting destruction.”

sure, almost 400 tons of missing explosives are important. But what about that amount compared to those already destroyed, in custody, and still missing? It is just a fraction.
