Now..That’s a Patch?
Ya know it figures. I give a company respect for issuing a large content patch and when I do…the servers go to hell. All day Tuesday WoW was pretty much down and ever since then the second server I play on (a PvP - player vs player) server has been totally FUBAR. Great.
A Crimson Stag update: He tried the grass for the first time Saturday and ran like hell. He finished 7th (I think..maybe 8th) - it was by far his worst showing to date. The camp isn’t that upset. Some horses simply do not take to the turf and the jock came back and said he was slipping all over the track and blew both turns. So we’re pretty much just scratching that race off and moving forward. He came back healthy, which is the important thing.
I don’t watch SportsCenter. I cannot remember the last time I actually sat down and watched an entire 60 SC from start to finish. I really hate ESPN so I only watch the channel when I have to. So I missed the whole Barry Bonds interview. I had heard about it on the radio but I didn’t see it until last night watching of all things — The Daily Show. What kind of prickface drags his KID ON SCREEN and says to look at how you have hurt my family. Barry Bonds might just be the biggest prick in the history of sports. Now, by prick I mean jerk, ass, and generally unpleasant to be around. Ty Cobb, so I read, was quite the prick. You jump into the stands and beat up a parapalegic…that’s a major prick-able offense. There are obviously many others who fit into the prick category, but Bonds seems to go out of his way to piss people off. He’s racist, I think he’s a cheater, and wants to blame everyone else for his foibles. Turns out he even has a mistress. Well done, Bar. Very pricklike.

And now Barry Bonds might miss the whole year due to knee surgery. Imagine that, they finally start steroid testing and Barry will miss the whole year. (I don’t think there is any “might” to it.) It’ll probably be so bad that he will retire. And we will all miss seeing him shrink down to normal size and start hitting like a 40+ year old man.
Why am I so not surprised?

He won’t retire. His ego won’t let him because he’s so close to Babe Ruth.
He’ll pass Ruth and people will question it because of steroids and he’ll say it’s because he’s a black man.

Too bad about Stag. Comments said he was rank early. Dallas didn’t put many published works into him before this one so maybe he was a little to raring combined with bad footing…..I hope you guys tackle the Bluegrass. Might as well figure out what this horse is made of.

I think they’re pointing for the Layfaette at Keeneland. I was wanting the Ill. Derby, but I dunno if 9F is in the cards.
