Weekend Update
Well, I found out that CC.com does allow you to return to the store, but you have to return the entire ‘bundle,’ so I can’t just open up Wipeout Pure, otherwise I’ll have bought the entire package. Yikes. Thankfully I did find this out ahead of time.
Guess I’ll use my 10% off at Sam Goody and use it there on stuff. I guess I gotta get Wipeout, based on GameRankings’ reviews.
In other news, Soccer’s best rivalry heats up, USA vs Mexico in a World Cup Qualifier on Sunday. Baseball has Red Sox-Yankees, and this is up there. As you probably don’t remember, the USA shocked Mexico last World Cup in a 2-0 win, so this one should be interesting…if only it was in HD like the Honduras game was (thanks HDNet!)….
Back to Idol for a moment — I love the way they play the ‘theme song snippet’ when you’re eliminated. Normally, the theme song is saved for when you win (see Price is Right), but on Idol, it’s hey, your journey ends tonight, you really sucked — cue the theme music! Just an odd time to play it if you ask me…
Hey, between my last post and this one, Tiger Woods finally loaded. It’s a good game. Too bad it takes too damn long to load (for PSP). Oh yeah, is there also a federal law that requires Sony to make long names for their equipment? It’s not a flash memory card. It’s a memory stick duo 32MB. Why not add Memory Adaptor (Network/Modem) (For PlayStation Portable) (32MB) to the end of it. Gah!
