Football Draft is Done
Well, the Yahoo Fantasy Football draft is over. Picking 7th in a snake draft sucks. But it’s better than picking 8th. With an 18 team draft, around the 13th round, it was a lot of Major League-ish “who are these fu@#$ng guys” being drafted.
I’m not thrilled with my picks…I did get Culpepper and Vinateri, which should help with accuracy. I picked a K 3rd. Yes, I’m an idiot. Defenses went early in this draft. I did pick up TO…no one was willing to risk him. I did. And I tried Ricky Williams. I’m either a genius or an idiot.
It was a fun draft, some draft picks made were a little weird. Someone picked up Correll Buckhalter. Of course he’s out for the season, so maybe that guy thought it was a keeper league. Then again, when you haven’t played two seasons….oh well.
Bill and Todd seem to be talking about music, so I will as well. I now have a Subscription compatible MP3 player so I signed up for Yahoo Music Unlimited. It’s sooo much cheaper than Rhapsody, but it feels cheap too. If you know what you want for music, it’s great though, so I can’t complain.

Too bad there was some know-it-all there, telling everyone when to take a kicker and stuff…

TO was a good pick. I was going to grab him, but wanted to get 2 RB and a QB before I looked at WR.

In our familyish draft i also picked up Ricky Williams in the later rounds. i hope he does good after his suspension. and i got mike nugent just because you guys (or maybe just one, i don’t remember) were drooling over him last fall. even though i had a chance to take a couple homestate Packers, i knew better than that. I don’t expect much from them this year.
