  1. The more I read about this the less excited I get. Have fictional characters, have press conferences, emails, newspaper articles – ok. But this seems to be going beyond that and it is beginning to worry me whether they can pull it off.

Also, the storyline of having players try to make a garbage franchise into a great franchise just doesnt make sense when there is no franchise mode – just one longer season.

  2. I too wish there was as continuous season mode, obviously. I’d like to be able to STAY in this fictional world longer than just one season even though it’s a long 33 game marathon. What if I don’t want to play online? I like that you can take your offline custom team online, but I’d personally prefer some kind of true franchise mode, although that would be hard with how the game is designed from what I can tell. With all of these pre-determined personalities, a franchise mode might not work as well.

That said, I’m still very anxious to play the game for the sole reason that it looks like a hell of a lot of fun. If the gameplay is there, and if it is as much fun as it sounds/looks, maybe there’s a way to custom build some online leagues to keep it a bit fresh. We’ll see.

  3. I’m excited about Blitz as well, but am disappointed that there is no continuos season mode as well. Bill on another note, there’s 3 days until Breeder’s Cup releases. Have you heard anything good, bad, indifferent about it? I’m anxious just waiting for it.

  4. I have heard next to nothing about it other than it should sell for $20. I should get a copy from Besthesda, so Ill post impression s as soon as I get it.

  5. So did he actualy anwser if league play was supported online? :)
