Just in case you REALLY want an Xbox 360

Tech Depot has them. Sign up for Simple Rebates and get a little cash back. Good news? It's not bundled. Bad news? It's $599.99, $200 over list price. Even Office Depot "Takes Care of Business" by f-ing you hard.

And no, I'm not going to be purchasing one from there. Damn it sure sucks to be one of those people that actually has to pay for their console. I feel your pain! lol

That's the thing about reviewers...all those IGNers, for example: they get the console free. That's why Madden gets an 8.0. If you just dropped say, $460 for an Xbox and Madden, you are going to be some pissed when you find out there's no madden cards or replay challenge..and you dropped $460. If you work at IGN, well, yeah the game still sucks, but you didn't visibly feel that burning hole in your wallet for getting scrweed.

  1. There are 25,000 XBox 360′s for sale on eBay right now. Thanks for selling what people who preordered who actually WANT the system could have had.

  2. And 90% of those auctions are scams. Either someone selling an email address, an empty box, their pre-order that hasn’t arrived yet, people setting up new accounts, selling phantom 360′s and stealing the buyer’s money without ever sending anything in the mail. Happens every day with “hot” products.

There aren’t actually 25,000 consoles legitimately up for auction on eBay. eBay is filled with thousands of scammer auctions.

  3. Yes, but Jon, you’ll always have hundreds of cretins who preordered systems for the express purpose of re-selling them on eBay for a profit.

  4. You also have the “$2,000 for an Xbox 360″ “news” item where it was total fraud by the seller and buyer.

  5. Oh, so you weren’t the one who bought the 360 for $3,500?

  6. The shortages are bad, dipshits on Ebay trying to take advantage of the people suffering from the shortages are worse.

  7. Sony is running scared now.

    Sony Employees Caught in Act
    November 23, 2005 (7:04 PM EST)

    By Jeff Wagoner, CF Editor

Tokyo (AP)- As cries of Xbox 360 defects in the United States have consumed the online world in the past 48 hours since the launch, it has been discovered that Sony is apparently the fuel to the fire.

Known as “Project Light Flame” it has been revealed that third-party employees of a Sony subsidiary named Koyeo are actually being paid to insight negative views upon the newly released console.

Why you ask? Because Sony themselves are gearing up for a launch of their new console, the Playstation 3. More news to come as soon as it’s available…

First fake critics, now this. LOL Oh, and let’s not forget those toolkits.
