MLB 2K6 again
Uh..you know I want to like this game. I like the swing model. It just feels like I'm playing on a field of molasses. I can't stand the pitching model at all.
Now I feel better.

It certainly does need work. However, I’ve been enjoying it for what it is. The momentum is overdone, but it’s not too bad once one gets used to it. Just takes getting used to compared to the typical baseball game where every player can turn on a dime. I think the turning on a dime is unrealistic, but this overblown momentum is as well.
The animations are really odd. Some are just excellent and then there are other animations that just leave you shaking your head. While the swing animation improved, it still looks poor. Throwing animations aren’t real great either.
With all that said, I actually have been getting some very realistic results so far in a franchise. Of course it took a ton of slider tweaks though.
Oh yeah, it hasn’t froze on me in 14 games. Amazing. It did once when it first came out, but hasn’t since then. Go figure.
