MTV Music Awards
Wow. I am either officially old or MTV really sucks. As I always do, I watched the Video Music Awards last night. It’s funny how “MTV News” covers it. There’s Kurt Loder who’s been there since late 80s/early 90s…there’s John Norris, who attempts to be cool by dyeing his hair each year.
Remember when music videos were cool? Now, it’s pretty much summed up as : guy drives, guy drinks, guy dances, talks about hos and that’s the video. I do have to give it up to OK GO, who’s treadmill skills are impressive.
Anyway, in a word the show sucked. It was not good at all, and not even Jack Black could fix it. From the horrid idea to use film instead of videotape (stupid), to the musical acts (even Shakira, a fave of mine, was not on key).
I can’t believe I wasted 3 hours. Ugh.
Hey, to those in our Fantasy Draft, we have it scheduled for Monday at 10am…I did receive a request to bump it to 11AM. What says you?
