Speaking of SNL
Big news on that front for those who still watch..specifically Tina Fey,Rachel Dratch, Chris Parnell , Horatio Sanz , and Finesse Mitchell have all been fired or quit. Amy Poehler will still head up the weekend update.
Analysis: Fey was getting stale at the update desk, see ya Debbie Downer...Parnell is kind of a surprise, but he's been there a long time. Sanz couldn't read one line on a cue card without cracking up and Finesse..well I wasn't that impressed either.
The weekend update has been terrible since what's-his-name left. The show has pretty much sucked...maybe they need a shake up. Would would Sorkin do?

Mad TV has flown under the radar for years but I think it’s been a much better show for a very long time now. Seriously, check episodes from the last 2-3 years, and the cast is twice as talented as what SNL has had on there.
SNL has been in a rut nearly echoing the infamous Julia Louis-Dreyfus/Charles Rocket/Anthony Michael Hall cast that nearly ended the series altogether. Every time I’ve turned it on recently on I couldn’t believe how pathetic and totally unfunny it was. Horatio Sanz was the most worthless comedian I’d ever seen, and I’m glad America has basically validated the fact that Jimmy Fallon has no talent either after the garbage movies he’s turned out lately.
