Best hockey fight I’ve seen in a while
If you didn’t see this on SportsCenter last week, take a look at this video from an NHL game between Ottawa and Buffalo from February 22nd.
I love a good goalie fight and the look on Ray Emery’s face as he’s heading out to match up with the Biron from Buffalo is priceless.

For many years I have wanted the NHL to tone down on fighting. They may have gone too far. That fight was really exciting and it illustrated the passion that the players we playing with. It seems to me in the new NHL passion is one of the things sorely missing. Or it could be that I am a Bruins fan and am watching the wrong games.

It’s funny, but I’ve heard talk that they’re looking to eliminate the 2 minute instigator penalty. I’d be all for that. For as much as people would like to get rid of it, it is a part of the game. It’s always been part of the game, and it definitely has it’s place.

Glen have you read The Code? Its been getting a lot of hype, but so far its been a ok read. The unwritten rules that happen out there are very deep and full of tradition.
Do yourselves a favor, youtube search for a Boogaard fights or Twister fights. Man TOny Twister was crazy.
