Sanjaya rules. That's all I can say. Phil was pretty good too. Funny how Randy doesn't like a Cure song. I'm really hoping for Morrissey week. The judges wouldn't know what to do. Or Depeche Mode week. That would rock.
Worst of the night: Chris. Both of them sucked. They sucked more than Sanjaya.
I want Sanjaya to stay, who knows what the hell he will do next.

The judges were giving props to Blake for his “original” take on the Cure song, but it was the same version that 311 did over 10 years ago. Didn’t Blake do another 311 song earlier this season?

Yep. It’s the same as when Chris did “his take” on Higher Ground last year…which was a cover of the Chili Peppers version. I am continually amazed that three pros fail to pick up on that.
Oh, and Sanjaya makes the show for me.

The amazing thing is that Sanjaya is actually seeming to get better… or maybe I’m just in awe of his hair each week or lowering my standards.
I’d agree with Dan that the two performances from Chris X 2 were the two worst of the night. One of them should be moving on tonight.
