New Game Informer In Hand
I have received the latest Game Informer, which has a 6 page feature on All Pro Football 2K8. Looks interesting, Stadiums will be custom to each team, fans will have 64 different models. Weather should be a big role, injuries will be there big time so you’ll see a guy break his hand instead of “player #23 is injured” but not in a Blitz way…sure sounds interesting…but the “Play the Game and shut up” quote really rubs me the wrong way.

No Franchise mode???
What a disappointment.

Yup, no franchise mode is confirmed. I’m hoping this is a bargain game..:)

Does that mean no multiple seasons, or just no in-depth franchise management? Why does this sound more and more like the “thinking man’s” Blitz: The League?

It seems to me that it’s looking more and more like the “Half-assed” 2K football title.
Anything more than $29.99 and you can be sure that I’ll be passing on it.

The exclusion of a franchise mode is mind-boggling. For “man versus machine” people such as myself the exclusion of a franchise mode really leaves us with not much.

No franchise mode with limited custom options. It’s just what we asked for!
Doh. Sorry, I should just ’shut up and play the game.’ My bad.

Hmmm let’s see, no franchise mode or EA’s shitty franchise mode and craptacular gameplay? You decide.

It doesn’t really sound like much of a decision at all there.
Sounds like football games might be easy to avoid this year.
