Friday Musings
First off, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention a certain baseball team that has won six in a row and is in second place in the AL East. Yes, after winning six games they are now at .500, which probably means they will drop their next 12, but damn…they are starting to come together. (Referring to the Orioles here). The Red Sox are just blowing everyone away, but if the Orioles keep this up, I will be happy regardless.
I haven’t played as much Forza as I’d like — I have a Wii Mortal Kombat review I’m working on, but I have played a few races with the controller and a few with the wheel, and damn, I’m very glad I have the wheel. It makes a great game even better.
I haven’t even opened Shadowrun, but I had played the beta quite a bit. I figure this weekend I’ll get some of that game in.
Next week there’s only one game released, and it’s called Call of Juarez. It’s supposed to be a FPS with a western theme. I’m curious about it, and I’m gonna pick it up for the 360.
I played a little of the demo of Hour of Victory, the Midway Call of Duty wannabe. I’m a sucker for these games and I have to say I’m enjoying it.
I didn’t realize that in Mad Tracks you can select your CPU opponenets. At first I was thinking gee, this single player game is boring by myself. Always RTFM…
I submitted my download column…so that should be up soon.

That is the only hockey game at the moment.
It would be nice if they could get some of the Wayne Gretzky games on there, or even something like Faceoff.
It really makes me remember that there weren’t a ton of hockey games for the PC back in the day.
