More Football on GameShark

My All Pro Football (PS3) review is up, as well as former BSG blogger Todd’s review of the 360 version. One of the great things about GameShark is that we don’t just repeat the same review for 23 platforms and instead have different people give different opinions. Now, for the record, I’ve played both versions, and to me the game is the same whether or not you play the PS3 or the 360. My grade was more punitive based on the limited depth and lack of features of the game and if I did the review of the 360 version, I’d have given it the same grade.
Xbox fanboys will say “this proves that the 360 is better than the PS3″ but at least with this game, I wouldn’t say this is the case. NCAA on the other hand — there’s a *HUGE* difference. I would give the 360 version a higher rating.

Thanks for the plug, and yep, I agree on the different perspectives being a boon to GameShark as we both justify the reasons for the different grades. In my case I’ve never felt like Madden’s franchise stuff works very well anyway and graded almost purely for on-field action, which I thought was as much fun as I’ve had with a football game in a long, long time. (Even with some game balance blemishes.)
