I think the bigger issue is how, prior to the '06 elections, Craig was outed by someone who had interviewed other men claiming to have had sex with Craig in various public restrooms. At the time of the outing, the right wing went ape shit, basically saying that it doesn't matter if he's gay, it's his business and so forth. At the time, some conservative pundits and bloggers even went to so far as to say that this outing would disgust the public to the point where it would turn the tide of the '06 elections to the Republicans.

Now, fast forward to after the '06 elections, where no such thing happened, and the very same pundits and bloggers are saying that this guy should resign for what he's done. Why, 18 months ago, is what he does in his spare time not the public's business, but now it's something he should resign over? Funny how one little guilty plea can completely change people's opinions of you.

And it happened right here at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport...whee! My question is what was he doing in at the airport unless he was getting a connecting flight.

My question is how this went undetected for over 2 months by the press around here (and national press). This type of stuff (Republican senator in a homosexual situation) should have liberals salivating.
