Monday night news and notes
- So, Microsoft is skipping a new Arcade game this week and has decided to just give out 25% discounts on old games. I guess they figured that the 50% off thing worked a few weeks ago, so now they’ll see if they can give out less of a discount and still get a sales boost.
- 4.2 million copies of Halo 3 shipping at launch. My thought is that you’ll be able to find plenty of copies for the rest of the year.
- Want pictures of the new PS3 Wireless Guitar for Rock Band? The FCC has them. Never thought I would be linking them.
- Apparently the Brewers aren’t going to lay down (up 12-2 in the 6th.) I hope they just finish out strong now.
- No games for me this week. Thank goodness. I’m thinking I’ll just mess around with the ones that I have. Some more NHL perhaps.

So expectations are that they beat the # held by Spider-Man 3 (as a dig to Sony). I was kinda surprised SM3 made that much, but Halo eclipses it, duh. Especially at these prices (which is a little unfair at how they report it).
