The Brewers have as much, if not more talent, than the Cubs do. If they can solve their bullpen issues, they will be a strong team. Come on Jon... They had an 8 game lead early in the year. I'd say "what a collapse". Thank the Mets for overshadowing the small market Brew crew and their choke job. If the Mets had taken care of business and locked things up when they could have, all of the talk right now would be how ugly the Brewers were down the stretch. As for being one of the teams to beat in the NL next year, they barely finished over .500 and STILL haven't seen postseason play in 25yrs. Favorite in the Central? Chicago will be the team to beat, and if the Cardinals can get some real pitching and stay healthy, I'd say the division will come down to the final weeks between 3+ teams like it did this season.
