Monday morning news and notes

- Wow. Nintendo really surprised me today. Sin and Punishment for the N64 and Super Mario Brothers Lost Levels for the NES. Both games that had never been released in the US. They did charge a a bit more for both games, but from what I’ve read they had to do some translation work on Sin and Punishment for the English audience. There goes 1800 points for me today.

- MLB Power Pro’s for the PS2 and Wii comes out this week. I can’t wait to give this one some play.

- OSU and Wisconsin move up to 4 and 5 in the AP and USA Today polls. I really hope both of these teams are undefeated when they meet each other later in the year. I don’t think Wisconsin is the number 5 team, but they keep winning their games, so I guess they’ll be in that range until they lose one.

- It was great to see Favre break the TD record in Minnesota. I kind of get the feeling that he’s just holding onto the record until Peyton passes, no pun intended, him eventually. If you didn’t see the highlights, they played a video message from Dan Marino to Brett, but he never saw it because after he gave his wife a kiss, he went right back to looking at the pictures from the last drive. Too funny.
