Really early Monday morning notes
- I just finished up playing Portal. It’s a very solid 4 to 5 hour game, but I have to say that it has the most entertaining end credits that I’ve ever seen. I won’t spoil it for you, but don’t walk away from your PC when you’re done.
- Ok, so how exactly are the Patriots ’sticking it to the NFL’ by running up the score in every single game. Maybe the punishment was harsh for what they were doing, but no one can deny that they weren’t breaking the rules they were told not to break. A nice meaningless touchdown against the Cowboys is going to piss off the Goodell? I can’t wrap my mind around that one. Maybe Belichick is running up the score to make sure that the over is hit… who knows?
- OSU and USF are the number 1 and 2 teams in the inital BCS rankings… if someone said that OSU would get a rematch against a Florida team in the National Championship game, I can’t think for a second that anyone would have thought that South Florida would be that team. Lots of time left in the season to mess with those rankings though.
- I think I can write the final line for Dan’s MLB Power Pros review. “If you like baseball games, you’ll love my review of this baseball game.”

Watch out for those triple negatives.

I just view a triple negative as a negative with EXTREME emphasis. Or is it extremely bad grammar. One or the other.

In the case of “no one can deny that they weren’t…”, you would be better off with a double or quadruple negative.

Oh, well. Next time I’ll stick the landing.

I can’t deny that you won’t fail to stick it next time.
