Tuesday night notes

- Sony has updated their MLB 08: The Show page for the PS3.  There is a new HD trailer as well as 12 screen shots for the game.  The game looks pretty good again this year.  This was Dan and my favorite domestic baseball game last year, so I’m looking forward to seeing Sony’s 2nd baseball effort for the Playstation 3.

-  I’m nearly done with Fairway Solitare.  Dan and I have mentioned this game on every podcast since we’ve purchased it.  It’s well worth your time to take a look at the one hour demo.

- I have to say that this cover for Sports Illustrated is pretty damn cool.

- Again… seriously… The Monkees on Rock Band?  Best yet, it’s a cover of the Monkees.  Oh, and still no Who’s Next either.  Great stuff EA.

They can’t please everyone. But lets compare GH’s DLC to Rock Bands DLC. Ha. Yea.. GH is lame.

The Monkees track isn’t bad. It was harder than I thought it’d be.

Finally, its a great idea to put as many bands into RB as possible. It is a decent karaoke song and a popular track at that. RB continues to appeal to massive amounts of people. As far as the cover, who knows. I’m sure that they’d use all master tracks if they could and if it were financially ideal to do so.

The beauty is that if you don’t like it, then don’t buy it. Seems simple enough.

Oh, I know that’s the beauty of the system. I just don’t want Dan to be the only one complaining around here.
