The exclusions all have one thing in common: their sole function is to play movies. Judging by that, only hardware whose sole function is to play movies are discounted. If it rings up as a console, I can see the 20% not working. I'm sure that with a manager's involvement you can get the discount, but I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't work right off the bat.
