- Rumors are swirling that Circuit City is getting rid of HD DVD players. Let's hope that they start clearing out the movies for sale prices.
- Now that it's tax return time, and I'm due a bonus at work in the next two weeks, I'm looking to add a 32 or 37" LCD TV for the bedroom. Any thoughts or suggestions as to brand? It's been a while since I've looked at a TV... so any advice is helpful.
- As far as the MLB article at IGN. I'm taking a wait and see approach. Redesigning the throwing and pitching interfaces is always an interesting thing to try... but we'll see how well it works.
- NHL All Star game at 6 EST tonight on Versus. Of course, if you're a hockey fan.. you probably knew that. If you're not... well, I'm not going to be able to convince you to watch it... or am I?

Ugh. The NHL All Star game might be the worst way to try to convince someone to get into hockey. It’s all about dangling and dipsy-doodling and there’s absolutely no intensity. Playoff hockey – that’s how you introduce somebody to the sport.

Glen, I love HDTV for hockey. Very happy with my Samsung 40″ LCD for HD cable, Blu-ray and PS3 gaming (even have it as the second monitor for my PC). Got a good deal on Amazon, too.

You’re right about playoff hockey mightyj… but that’s a long way from now. As a card carrying hockey fan, I need to try and convince as many people to watch every day, right?
Pete, I have a Samsung DLP and really like it. I just wasn’t sure how good their LCD’s were.

I have the 40 in Samsung LCD as well and couldn’t be happier with it

I have a 50. Yes, I’m huge. But it’s DLP, not LCD> lol
