please set in the trumpetYup, my 5th 360 gave me the red ring of death as I was trying to download the Boston Rock Band track pack this morning. Thankfully I bought an Elite when the GameStop PRP was still working, so it's back to the store today. Un-f'n-believable.

I guess, for once in my life, I can consider myself lucky. Bought my 360 at launch way back when and I have never had any problems. *looks for piece of wood to knock on*

I’m the same. Bought my system on day one. No issues. It’s also always been in a well ventilated space….which probably helps.
I think Dan tries to make Hot Pockets with his or something…Jebus knows they get warm enough to try.

Ditto me as well – and I must be one of the few people for whom the score is PS3 1, xbox 0, as the BR drive in my PS3 conked out last week.
Fair does to Sony though, it’s just about in warranty and they dropped one off as they picked mine up. Back to MLB 08 for me then, and it’s a good job that’s good as that is the only game I’ve bought for it in the last 6 months, and I am not buying any Blu-Ray disks at £19 a go, which is what they are over here.
