The sad thing about that article is that I remember almost every one of those teams.  I watched a ton of the games and listened to Uecker quite a bit.  It's amazing how a good radio voice can keep you coming back to an awful team.  

As a side note, in the post game for last nights Brewers game, Jim Powell said the Brewers had to give a tip of the hat to the pitchers for the Marlins.  Uecker comes back with, "I'm not tipping my hat to anyone.  In fact, I'm not going to wear hats anymore.  Actually, I'm just going to show up to the game naked and see what happens then."  

Only Uecker can take a 5 game losing streak and make you end up laughing about it.</description>
