Spore

I was ready to buy and download on Sunday…then I started reading the reviews. All of the scores look great, but when you read the reviews …it doesn’t seem to me that the text of the review matches the score. I just get the funny feeling if this were a Ubisoft game by an unknown developer we wouldn’t be seeing the high scores that we are seeing now.

What do you think? Have you played it? I am curious, but I’m not sure I’m $49.99 curious…

    I don’t know if I was expecting too much, but it really feels rather empty. Each stage can be broken down into one sentence: Do this simple task and repeat.

    Neat concept, just not that fun.

    If you like it, more power to you. I’m glad someone feels like it wasn’t a waste of money. I’m not writing a review, but I don’t see myself ever playing it again, and that speaks for itself.
