Life On Mars and other Stuff
Just scanned part of the pilot episode of Life On Mars...they haven't done a bad job Americanizing it -- I was surprised. I just wish they kept the theme song, which I really liked.
I haven't received any of the basketball games, so I can't comment on them. I can say that giving MLB Stickball a 3.0 is a joke. It's better than that. What the hell were you expecting from this game? I mean hey, it's no Wreckless for Xbox, but whatever.
Just when you think your 401K can't get any worse, it does. My goodness!
The $1 a month extra for Blu Ray is a very nominal fee. I don't see how that can cover buying BD's that are double the cost of regular movies, but kudos to Netflix for not sticking it to the renting public.
Memo to Sony: The way you have Qore setup for annual subscribers is plain stupid. Having to go back through my downloads to the day I bought the annual subscription needs to be fixed. It's stupid. Did I mention how stupid that is?
Speaking of stupid, did I just see that you have to buy every league separately in FIFA? Are you serious? Please tell me that's just for the DNA like features and that Rooney will be on Man U in the game I buy at the store...otherwise I will not be too happy!

Live Season = DNA, so basically just updates to the player attributes on a weekly basis. Pretty much worthless, but in any case you get one league free if you want to test it out.

The $1 Blue Ray fee is not “nominal” if the blue ray discs are not more readily available. To me the fee is nothing more than an access fee to movies you may or may not be able to rent. Netflix should not charge a fee “until” you receive a Blue Ray movie.
