Well, it is what a normal fan would do. If you are a Danfan (TM) then you watch until your team falls behind and then you turn off the TV in disgust...

There is just so much going wrong with the team that it seems silly to be hoping for other teams to play below .500 the rest of the way... even with their schedules.

I know that if we beat the Bears, we'll own the tiebreaker with them... but hoping for 2 or 3 losses, AND a 4 out of 4 for the Packers... just doesn't seem plausible.

I'll keep watching though... I'm a fan... it's what we do, right?

Well Glen, the Pack still have SOME life. Especially since the Vikes won last night. The Vikes have to play Arizona, Atlanta, and the Giants this month. If the Vikes go 1-2 in those games (not implausible), and if the Pack goes 4-0 (beating 3 weak teams and Chicago), then all 3 of us in the NFC North are 9-7...and the Pack wins the division title tiebreaker of divisional record (5-1 versus 4-2 for Vikes and Bears).

Pathetic, I know...but not quite in "needing a miracle" territory yet.
