Friday notes
- I'm efforting a Madden 10 code to see if I can get the full demo. As you guys have said, a demo with 1 minute quarters is not a great way to view how a game plays out.
- I started playing The Bigs 2 on Wednesday night and found that the game is a good deal more challenging than the last version. Dan's reasoning for my issues with the games was summed up with a simple, "You suck."
From what I've seen thus far, it seems like there are certain games that have some catch up logic, but it might just be as Dan says... and that I need to put more time in.
I will say that I was getting a good deal more frustrated with the game than I would have liked though. I'll try to give it a bit more time tonight.
- As loyal blog readers would know, I wasn't a great fan of the former president, but I just read a very interesting article on Time about the request for Scooter Libby's pardon and found it to be a great read. It doesn't really change my views on George W. Bush, but it's a fascinating look into the pardon process that Bush went with and the lengths that Cheney went to to attempt to secure the pardon for Libby.
- I think I'm going to try and see Harry Potter 6 today. I only have to work half days at work on Friday... so it seems like a good thing to do before I have to pick up the kids from daycare.
