Tuesday Notes

Hello all, long time no chat. Well maybe a few days.

Anyway, as we get ready for the weekly “storm of the century,” I wanted to let you in on a little known secret on the Microsoft Indie Games channel on your Xbox 360.

There are sports games there, and the one released a few weeks ago is of important note to sports gamers.

It’s called “Inside Lacrosse's College Lacrosse 2010,” and it’s a mere 400 MS Points ($5).  Of course this isn’t an EA game so there aren’t any real college teams but there is a Baltimore team.

The game is better than many of the “Xbox Live” games that are a lot more expensive, and yes Tecmo NBA Crapfest, I’m talking about you.

You’ll use the right stick to shoot and the left stick to move. You can call your own defense, edit rosters, and buy items from the store. Best of all, you can play the game online.

There are no achievement points and depth of the game is limited but I played it late last night. Did I mention it is an insanely cheap $5?

You should show support of this great Indie Game and show support for the awesome sport of lacrosse and try this game out. There is a free demo naturally, and you can check out the official Xbox Page right here.
