Xbox #7, RIP

So, I went to play Peggle Nights last night…and it locked up. I rebooted, and got the red ring of death.

This is my 3rd Elite console and 7th overall at my house that has been borked. I am not out of lifelines at my local GameStop, which means I have to take advantage of the 3 year/2 week turnaround if I’m lucky repair process from Microsoft.

I am so @#$%ing sick of this. I love the games, I love the consoles but quite frankly this is insane! Merry Xmas! Here’s another broken 360!

  1. Sorry to hear that. I recently purchased my second one, after the first once finally died, which had also been repaired for the RROD (but fell out of warranty).

I agree. M$ may not get my money for another one when (not if) this one fails. I have come to like my PS3 just fine . . .

  2. Let’s hope Microsoft learned their lesson and not rush the next console to market just to have higher market share.

  3. For some reason, I don’t think they will have, but here’s to hoping. Maybe Natal will allow them to slow down their development and get it right this time though.

  4. I’m by my 3rd 360. I’ve NEVER had a console break on me before this. My 2600 still works. Seriously.
