Just wanted to say, I second Craig's comment about "replay 4th down." Seriously these are bugs we've caught on the first or second game, but no one noticed this? WTF?!

The craziest bug I’ve seen so far is the QB punting from under center at his own goalline. It seems to have something to do with the game getting confused about whether the previous play was a safety. The regular offense lines up but the play screen forces you to choose punt as it would if it was a safety. The QB then takes the snap and pooches into the back of his linemen, where it does the classic Madden spin on the players back for a few seconds and then ricochets back to the QB.
I was able to reproduce this 3 or 4 times in 15 minutes so how a QA tester could validate the safety logic and miss it … well let’s just say that some of EA’s hiring managers may have taken the term code monkey a bit too literally.

A few other things that were just annoying;
- why do my O linemen celebrate when the QB gets sacked?
- icing the kicker on the extra point? really?
- when wide open Donald Driver will catch the ball one handed – every time. Apparently he is training to be a juggler.
