Whoops and Madden iPad

Yes, I am not dead. I was still recovering from the "our game is so realistic, all bugs are accurate" post from EA. It's stuff like that which is silly. Kickoffs are as bad as Glen showed in his video. This needs to be fixed. The gaming community accepts betas as their sports games at this point, so stop bragging about it and just fix the problem, already.
Let's hope they do. In the meantime, have you tried Madden HD for the iPad? It looks gorgeous and will amuse passersby like crazy. The game is a little wonky and the touch screen controls are as much fun as...a game with touch screen controls (kinda borrowed that joke from the Hasselhoff roast about Jerry Springer (writing a check to a prostitute is as bad as ...writing a check to a prostitute) but it works here.

Oh well. Kicking on a touch screen is pretty good though, I'll give them that. They didn't do a half bad job given that I wasn't expecting much anyway!
