The Blog for the Sports Gamer Three guys who love Sports Gaming rant and rave about various stuff.

Tuesday notes

- One of the blog readers tracked me down on Twitter last night, which is funny because I've never mentioned my account on here.  Seriously, he should win something for that kind of sleuth work.

I'm usually talking about the same sorts of things that I talk about on here, but I use it as a live blog of sorts for other events as well.

If you're interested in following me on there, you can track me down at @sgm_glen.

- Not that it would have taken a genius to do so, but it was pretty easy to predict Boston thumping Vancouver last night and so we get a Stanley Cup Game 7, which is always amazing.  Add the fact that the games in Vancouver have been incredibly close in the finals and we should have a great game.

I'm sure you'll all be cheering for Vancouver, just because Dan wants Boston to win.

- I'd love to talk about the Brewer game last night, but ugh.  Seriously?  Running a suicide squeeze with 1 out in a 0-0 game in the 7th, with the infield in?  The pitcher fanned on the bunt and the runner was out after an absurdly long run down.  Terrible game at the plate (Wolf pitched well enough to deserve the win) for the Brewers after a great weekend series.  Thankfully Yo is on the mound today and can try to get things right again.

- In movies, I picked up the Back to the Future trilogy on Blu-Ray at Target yesterday for $15.  I figure that's a pretty good price for some fun 80's movies.

- As for Duke Nukem Forever, I'm going to have to rely on Dan and Craig's opinions for that.  I just can't bring myself to pick it up.  I know I'll get it eventually, but spending that much on a game that wasn't all that impressive in the demo is just too damn hard to do.

- Lastly, I got an app running on my Android tablet that allows me to connect to my PS3 Media Server application on my PC (which is what I use to stream movies and such to each of our PS3's.)

If only I could stream from my Windows Media Center (where I have a TV tuner card hooked up) then I would be completely set.

At this point, I pick up the tablet as soon as I get the kids to bed and it's pretty much by my side until I go to bed (and it functions as my alarm clock while I'm still sleeping in the recliner because of the surgery.)  It's been absolutely perfect for me to this point.  Absolutely love it.
