Monday notes
- They have to stumble at some point, but the Packers offense is just so damn impressive right now. Rodgers has thrown 24 TD passes in the first 8 games of the year, his high for an entire season is 30... hell, he should have that by the end of week 10.
The defense is making far too many mistakes to be considered a truly dominant team, but I would call you a liar if you didn't think this isn't one of the best offenses you've seen in recent memory.
- Since I finished up one sequel last weekend in Arkham City, I decided it was time to try and get through one of the other sequels that I had started this year, inFamous 2. It only made sense to jump from one open world game to another and it's amazing how much fun it is to ride along the electrical wires, jump just before the end, and then do your electrical hover so that you can fly to another high wire. I could do that for quite some time before getting bored. If only the missions had a bit more variation. Go here, kill bad guys, go there, kill bad guys.
Still, even with the lack of variety, the game is just so much fun to play. With the holiday season coming up, you should be able to start finding it in the $29 or $39 range and it's well worth that, for what you can get out of it.
- The game that I'm really debating picking up this week is Elder Scrolls: Skyrim. Via Direct2Drive, you can get it for $40-something with a coupon, and I really think that the PC version would be the one to grab. Anyone else planning on picking it up this week?
- Have a good week

What coupon for Skyrim PC? I’ll pick it up for that price.

You have to sign up for a trial of IGN Prime and then you get a 15% off coupon at Direct2Drive.
I haven’t tested it as of yet, but will probably be trying it out later tonight.

I’ll be picking up the PC version sometime after black friday when I get my new computer components together. Between Skyrim and BF3 and D3 it’s pretty much a given to upgrade now.

OH and forget SWTOR! All these great games would struggle quite a bit on my 3-4 year old system.
